SGH Medical Pharma actively chose to obtain ISO 22000 certification, which entails adhering to the standards of a food safety management system and undergoing certification. Nestled in the Allier region, SGH Medical Pharma operates and produces various types of bottles (along with their corresponding caps) and pill dispensers. Additionally, they manufacture a unique packaging solution called Unicadoses, which can be used as a substitute for double-tip glass ampoules.
Consequently, the regulatory professionals at SGH Medical Pharma conducted a comprehensive assessment of the production process to allocate the required resources for long-term risk management. One of the key areas they scrutinized was the organization of the production process and the manufacturing protocols employed to ensure SGH Medical Pharma’s capability to control risks and deliver safe products suitable for their intended purposes. As part of this undertaking, routine analyses were conducted to validate that there was no migration of packaging materials into the products themselves.
Offers Food-Grade and Pharmaceutical Raw Materials
In addition to ensuring the quality of its processes through certification, SGH Medical Pharma provides primary packaging options manufactured using pharmaceutical and/or food-grade materials. Certain products meet the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia 2.9.27, making them suitable for direct contact with medications. Alternatively, HDPE pill dispensers are designed specifically for contact with food and comply exclusively with regulations for use with food supplements, vitamins, and nutritional cosmetics.
