A widely accepted industry benchmark for software engineering quality is the CMMI® Level 3 grade for development. 2011 marked the year that Savantage first obtained a CMMI-DEV Level 3 Maturity grade for the same programme.

At this level, standards, procedures, instruments, and methodologies are used to explain processes that are well-characterised and understood. The collection of standard procedures used by the organisation, which serves as the foundation for Maturity Level 3, is developed and enhanced through time.
The CMMI-DEV Version 2.0 (CMMI-DEV, V2.0) at Maturity Level 3 includes process areas such as configuration management, quality assurance, verification and validation, risk management, requirements management, technical solution, product integration, project planning, and others.
