Samsung Electronics received ISO 27001 and 27701 Certifications

Samsung Electronics, the world’s number one digital signage supplier for 14 successful years, today announced that it has received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification from the British standard institution (BSI) for its digital signage content management systems (CMS). The 3 systems awarded with the certifications are the Samsung Visual Experience Transformation (VXT) platform, MagicINFO™, and LYNK Cloud™.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is a leading standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) certification, which defines the different requirements that an Information Security Management System (ISMS) needs to meet. As an expansion of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, the ISO/IEC 27701:2019 specifies the necessity and guides for introducing, maintaining, and improving a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS).
