Frauscher Sensor Technology, a supplier of axle counting and wheel detection systems based in Austria, has achieved ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
Frauscher Sensor Technology underwent a thorough evaluation of its processes, guidelines, and technical security measures. Furthermore, this evaluation confirmed that all processes in question satisfied the relevant standards and complied with the audit criteria outlined in ISO 27001. The company shared the evaluation report on July 11.
Frauscher Sensor Technology has achieved certification under an internationally recognized standard and “serves as evidence that Frauscher has a robust and efficient Information Security Management System (ISMS) in place”. This system covers all aspects concerning confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. Moreover, it recognizes the company’s ability to identify potential IT security-related risks, evaluate their significance, and take appropriate measures to ensure the security of their systems and data.
Certification not only increases customer confidence but also improves the organization’s efficiency by streamlining and optimizing internal processes through comprehensive security controls and procedures, as noted by Frauscher Sensor Technology.
